Our Team

Our Centre Leader, Liane, is a qualified and passionate teacher who has experienced the demands that Early Childhood Education can carry and it is also no secret that there are currently more kaiako leaving our profession than are joining. We feel a moral responsibility to ensure that we take good care of our teachers. It is important to us that every kaiako is celebrated and empowered to be their best selves. We know that it takes a big heart to guide our next generation and want our teachers to feel well supported so that this responsibility is never a burden.

We are looking for kaiako who lead with their heart and inspire a culture of kindness. Team members who know how to balance laughter with professionalism, are passionate about enhancing children’s view of the world, understand that connection and nurtured relationships within our setting is paramount and are looking to excel in a small team environment. A passion for nature is a must and it’s an added bonus if you are happy to play in the rain!

If feeling valued, recognised and noticed in your workplace is important to you then we would love to hear from you. Regardless of whether you are ECE qualified or unqualified, registered or unregistered, looking for full time hours or relieving; if you are passionate about respectful practices and learning through play we would like to hear from you.

With our opening date estimated to be in early 2020, you have plenty of time to organise your CV and cover letter. We are looking for 7 full-time staff; three staff with our children aged under 2 years and four staff with our children aged from 2 years to school. We’re happy to provide job descriptions on request and we’d love to hear about the strengths you could bring to our team.
